Kelsey Ellis

 Bio

Kelsey is a third year structural engineering major. She has worked on multiple projects involving solar panels, such as the Joint Student Group-Habitat for Humanity house hold PV system and the Solar Powered Water Pump for Ghana African International Operations, through UCSD's Global TIES program.  She has worked in an engineering firm, exposing her to structural analysis and design of structures.  She is going to be traveling to Africa this summer on the IICAS Human Rights Fellowship to further research for the solar powered water pump.  She is passionate about the project, she loves working on new projects and working on teams.  To her this project is new and innovative and she cannot wait to see the outcome!
